Born in 1948 by a Mafia family, Peppino Impastato breaks up with his father since he was young and begins an antimafia activity that combines political militancy, social committed and cultural creativity. Because of this, he was killed and the enquiry were sidetracked by members of the Mafia who wanted to pass off Peppino as a terrorist and a suicide. Noisy absences. Evanescent presences. A murder of the Mafia and a mother's tragedy. A liquid transforms itself and falls, recalling ideas, thoughts and memories in a fluctuant world, reflection of images, mirror of colours, double, metaphor. Every drop becomes voice; it is tear, it is sweat, it is life, it is lymph, it is blood; it is an ancestral, harmonic sound, amniotic and hypnotic. And with every drops flows an happy memory of one of the thousand past actions, a memory of endless struggles and of endless torments. Let the mark, left by Peppino on this earth, show the way to a lot of people. Perhaps this is possible. Or perhaps only in another Sicily.
